Nishi & Dhruval — Wedding Tracker. A private, shared tracker for everything
going into the wedding, so the whole family can plan together in one place.
How it works
- Points, not money. Every entry is recorded in points (no currency).
- Each entry has a total/due, paid-so-far and a live remaining, with a status of
Paid / Partial / Due, plus a category, one or more events (Engagement, Sangeet,
Wedding, Reception…), who paid, the channel (Online / In-person), and an optional note.
- Dashboard shows totals, a countdown to each function, and points by category,
event and person.
- Notes is a shared board for reminders and ideas.
- Saathi (the chat bubble) answers budget questions — totals, what's left,
top categories, who paid, days to each event.
- Timezone toggle (IST/PST) shows all times in your zone.
Who can do what
- Everyone can add expenses, edit any visible one, post notes, and manage categories/events.
- The master can do all that plus set budgets & key dates, manage members,
see the activity log, and mark expenses hidden (only the master sees/edits those).
Your privacy & safety
- Data lives on your own server — no third parties.
- Passwords are securely hashed; sign-in is rate-limited; reset links arrive by email and expire.
- Automatic daily backups, plus an activity log of every change.
Tip: on your phone, use your browser's “Add to Home Screen” to install it like an app.
